Soon after setting off, the crew came around with freshly baked muffins for morning tea. The cruise meanders up the Broadwater with a short peek into the Seaway, then on past South Stradbroke Island. The Skipper does a great commentary and for those unfamiliar with the journey it is most enlightening.
The journey to Brisbane takes about 6.5 hours and sails past South and North Stradbroke Islands, through the Bay Islands across Moreton Bay and up the Brisbane River to Hamilton, where there is a coach waiting to return us to the Gold Coast.
The trip is excellent value with morning tea, a substantial BBQ lunch served on board, afternoon tea, a bit of on-board entertainment, great commentary and a 6.5 hour cruise thrown in for good measure

On the 23rd April around 50 members, partners and friends sailed from Marina Mirage to Brisbane on the Lady Brisbane.
The weather was as near to perfect as you would want, setting us up for a wonderful day on the water.
